Nike Dunk
If you like skateboarding or basketball, you are most likely already familiar with the Nike Dunk. If their name means nothing to you, their shape and their legendary large tongue are certainly not unfamiliar to you. Fortunately, because the Nike Dunk are available in so many different colors that basing your decision solely on their color would not help you. It is also this infinite number of colors that has made these sneakers successful since their release in 1985. At the time, they displayed the colors of different American college basketball teams. This model has never lost its popularity and continues to rub shoulders with other legendary basketball shoes like the Jordan 1, even if today we find it more in skate parks than on the court. Indeed, skaters have widely adopted the Nike Dunk low because of their cushioning, grip and superior support.
In 2001, the Dunk was added to the Nike SB line and was given new features: a more cushioned insole, a more grippy outsole, and the iconic, thick tongue. This is the closest Nike Dunk to the one we know and love today.
